1. He
must have both physical and spiritual
vision for his ministry and church. This vision must be all encompassing.
It should cover area such as Evangelism, church planting through geographical
distribution of members and cells, targeted Bible Study and Exposition,
Seminar, Symposium, Children, Youth, Men Women, Marriage, Finance, Economy,
Health, Education etc.
2. He
must oversee affairs of the church under him through his immediate co-workers
and leaders of the departments in the church.
3. He
must delegate duties and responsibility to others.
4. He
must build others under him. There is nothing like “I can do it alone” in
administration.
5. He
must ensure that church records are properly kept and up to date. E.g.
Preachers’ book, Visitors Book, Bible Study handouts, wedding certificates,
Birth registration, child dedications, and funerals conducted, baptisms,
eligible communications etc.
6. He
must ensure proper care of the church money and materials etc.
7. He
must manage the church meeting and minutes and maintain orderliness during the
proceedings.
8. Management
of men, miracles and multitudes
9. Management
of committees, counseling, communications and converts.
10.Management of difficult
people among the youth, chorister, women, elders, rich and vocal, poor but
vocal, academicians rumours, blackmailing, hard to win brothers etc.
