DON’T ABUSE YOUR FREEDOM




GALATIANS 5:1, 13: For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
           ABUSES
1.Maltreatment: the physical, psychological, or sexual maltreatment of a person or animal
2.Improper use: the illegal, improper, or harmful use of something
• Allegations of abuse of government powers
3.Improper practice: an illegal, improper, or harmful practice, human rights abuses
4.Insults: insulting or offensive language
5.drug use: the harmful use of drugs or alcohol
1.Maltreat somebody: to treat a person or animal cruelly, whether physically, psychologically, or sexually, especially on a regular or habitual basis
2.Misuse something: to use something in an improper, illegal, or harmful way
3. Insult somebody: to speak insultingly or offensively to somebody
FREEDOM
Ability to act freely: a state in which somebody is able to act and live as he or she chooses, without being subject to any undue restraints or restrictions

2.Release from captivity or slavery: release or rescue from being physically bound, or from being confined, enslaved, captured, or imprisoned
3.country's right to self-rule: a country's right to rule itself, without interference from, or domination by, another country or power
4.Right to act or speak freely: the right to speak or act without restriction, interference, or fear gave them the freedom to enter without passports
5. Absence of something unpleasant: the state of being unaffected by, or not subject to, something unpleasant or unwanted   freedom from fear
6. Ease of movement: the ability to move easily without being limited by something such as tight clothing or lack of space   loose clothing allowing complete freedom of movement
7. Right to occupy place: the right to use or occupy a place and treat it as your own Off-season, we had the freedom of the whole house and the beach.
8.PHILOSOPHY free will: the ability to exercise free will and make choices independently of any external determining

But take care that this liberty of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak. For if someone sees you, who have knowledge, dining in an idol's temple, will not his conscience, if he is weak, be strengthened to eat things sacrificed to idols? For through your knowledge he who is weak is ruined, the brother for whose sake Christ died
DON’TS
Don’t use it to sin: Romans 6:12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, Romans 6:14 .David II Samuel 12:13
Don’t use it to be lazy Prov 21:25 .2Thess 3:11
Don’t use it for careless talk of destroy others. 2 Tim 2:22-23,2Thess 3:6-7
Dinah abuse her freedom and was defiles: Gen34:1-2
Don’t use it to do evil things: 1 Samuel 2:12-17 like the sons of Eli were worthless men;
1 Peter 2:16  :Act as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bond slaves of God
Don’t use it to rebel against the authority:  Becoming a stumbling-block to others 1Co 8:9-12  Ro 15:1-3
Don’t use it for Selfishness 1Jn 3:17 ,Lk 6:32-34      Numbers 20:10

USE YOUR REEDOM
From darkness to light Acts26:18, Power of Satan to God. Acts 26:18, Unrest to Peace Matt 11:28.
From death to Life 1 John 3:14,   Slavery to freedom Gal5:13, Communion with His son 1cor 1:9.
For eternal glory. 1Pet 5; 10
To love God and worship: Eccl 12:1-2. Luke 10: 27-28
For service: Doing good works James 3:13 .Brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another” (Galatians 5:13)
To have a vision, dream and to set goals for yourself and ACT on them. Phil 3:12-14. Anyone who fails to take action is a sin. It can lead to everlasting regrets. James 4:17.
To seek knowledge, acquire new skills and read books and study,2 Tim 2:15-16
To get things done, important things. fully uses your potentials, talents and skills to do things that need to be done.1 Thess 4:11-12. To work 2 Thess 3; 10
To help your family, give them support in needs, church and community including your country. And be a good pattern. Heb 13:3, Titus 2:4-7
To witness and be a good vessels and ambassadors for Christ. Act 1:8, 2 Tim 2:21,2Cor 5:20.
TOGETHER
Let us walk together Amos 3:3
Praise Psalm 34:3
Build the house of God .Ezra 4;3
Rejoice
CONLUSION
Hebrews 12:1-2. Let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfected of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
These are your time wake up and use it well, empower yourself and stand in Christ
