Bachelorhood and Spinsterhood.
Who is a bachelor: A bachelor is a young
independent man who has not yet married.
A spinster is a lady yet to marry. People
of this age/stages are called the youths and they may either be living
independently or with someone else.
Personal
Development
Focusing on what happens this time, it is
a time of youthfulness which they are so curious to know many things, find out
about life with eagerness to become something good in life.
They like to enjoy themselves have
fellowship with others, taking time to play, attending parties, pursue of
education and lot more.
TEST
OF THE TIME:
Along this line they face lots of
challenges like money influence, indulgence, parents’ pressure, early courtship,
premarital pregnancy, seeking personal identity, influence of mates, parental
unhappiness, physical maturity and anxiety among others.
As they face these changes and challenges
those who are unable to resist and stand have given in by bowing to the fleshy
lust, they have corrupted their life as a result of keeping bad company 1
Corinthians 15:33.
Some bachelors have taken the time as
pleasure time, they move in and out with anything in skirt and blouse. They
took the chances to take girls to their apartment for testing to see who will
fit them in future, after testing they send them parking.
They even go to the extent of impregnating
these careless spinsters and tell them to terminate it, that is murder and God
shall surely visit them Gen 9:3 your hand is not clean if you have done this.
The word of God says remember thy creator
in the days of thy youth. Exc. 12:1
Some spinsters has forgotten this warning
and use their time to enjoy life to their satisfaction, they move about with
men allow themselves to be tested like a soup. What evil? A lot of them have
turned to educated harlot and abort as they like. God will visit them. Ezekiel
16:35-38
The immorality in our country has
drastically reduced the numbers of virgins in the society.
In every 100 spinsters between ages of 15yrs
to 20yrs have had sexual intercourse with either boyfriend or man friend or
married man.
Some in class 3, 4, or 5 fell by the time
they were in prelim in university, some fell in polytechnics and other higher
institutions. Some fell during their orientation weeks and N.Y.S.C years, others
while seeking for jobs and employment. They all became non–virgins, “how are the mighty fallen” They lost
their virginity, prestige, pride, honor and their former documents are no more
valid.
Many has abuse the freedom they had as a
youth and has earn them sorrow instead of joy they desire.
The bible says run from youthful lust 2
Timothy 2: 22.
Therefore if you have by any means be
wounded make amendment today Act 17:30 and call upon God who will heal your
wound Jer. 30:17.
